It is true that Jesus Dillo aka Raffy Nabre is answerable to the revolutionary movement on certain issues. However, settling this issue with Raffy Nabre is not the priority of the Revolutionary Peoples’ Army (RPA) and the Revolutionary Workers Party-Mindanao (RPMM) as there are more pressing issues within the organization that needs to be addressed. If there’s any move that would be initiated by the revolutionary movement, this would be to talk to him. This is in keeping with the party’s long rejection of the old framework that in all disputes, there is only one resolution and this is through violent means. This can be proven by the existence of former comrades who turn their backs on their party. Raffy is fully aware of this himself and even the people surrounding him that nothing happened to them.

Several persons surrounding Raffy, persistently point an accusing finger to the RWPM and RPA as the one responsible for his murder. This is a big lie and has no basis. Raffy was once a comrade in the revolutionary movement including other former comrades who kept insisting that it’s the movement that is responsible for his killing. The RPA and its whole partisan operatives in Cotabato City and the neighboring areas are already investigating the case to determine the real perpetrators for its immediate resolution. It is our ardent desire to bring to justice the true perpetrators to clean the name of the revolutionary movement which is tainted with the false and misplaced accusation by persons and groups who have interests against the revolutionary movement.

The RPA-RWPM is calling upon all the affected parties, the family and friends of Raffy to not be too hasty in their conclusion, judgment and actions. The revolutionary movement is of the strong belief that there are people and groups that’s out to pit them against Raffy’s family and friends to cover their real interests in his murder. These interested people and groups behind the killings would be very glad that they have already taken Raffy out of their way and in doing so have also implicated the revolutionary movement and its personalities. The perpetrator of the crime is a schemer and traitor, who will have no qualms or scruples in committing other senseless crimes for their vested interests.

We greatly feel for the loss of the wife, children and relatives who are also part of the society that we want to free from injustice. We deeply grieve and sympathize with their loss.

The RPA-National Operational Command and its whole organization on the name of the Revolutionary Peoples’ Army and the Revolutionary Workers Party-Mindanao are demanding for justice and the arrest of the real perpetrators. Bring to the bar of justice the murderers!
