Message of Solidarity to the Nouveau Parti Anticapitaliste (NPA)
From the Network for Transformative Social Protection (NTSP)
How is it possible that in a world of plenty and technological advances in farming, manufacturing, and engineering, close to a billion people still live in poverty, hunger, homelessness, and inequality? How is possible that at the other end of this misery is the obscenity of mindless overconsumption, wastefulness, and destruction? How is it possible that the world has politically, socially, and culturally dismembered, disconnecting people from each other, people from planet, and planet from self? How is it possible that all things life-giving—water, culture, interactions, biodiversity, human organs, DNAs, and even our image of ourselves—have been commodified?
Your party, Nouveau Parti Anticapitaliste, holds the answer. Capitalism has reduced our humanity to its only context: market and profit. And the party has done right to get back our humanity by calling for the rejection of the oppressive system that perpetuates massive injustice. Nouveau Parti Anticapitaliste has persistently acted to change the disparity between the masses who live in subhuman condition and an elite few who benefit from a socio-economic system that robs the majority of their dignity.
We, members of the Network for Transformative Social Protection, send this message of solidarity to you on the occasion of your Second Congress and for consistently placing humanity at the forefront of development. We salute and support you in uniting the world’s poorest in the fight for the fundamental right to live with dignity.
It is opportune for the Network for Transformative Social Protection to link with Nouveau Parti Anticapitaliste. Together, we shall pursue advocacies with the poor and the marginalised towards reclaiming humanity for all. We are grateful that your party has continuously inspired social movements like ours in Southeast Asia. By sharing with us your analyses and campaigns with the grassroots, we are able to imagine, learn, and work more effectively and extensively with different networks and movements in both Asia and Europe. We are one with you in realising equality, justice, and participatory democracy in our societies.
The challenge for us now is not only how to replicate the successes in people’s anti-poverty struggles around the world, but also how to untiringly build deeper collaboration and wider cooperation towards our grand but doable and necessary goals. Again, our very best wishes to your future endeavours. We hope that our network can continue to be an active partner of your undertakings.

From Revolutionary Socialist Party

Revolutionary greetings to NPA France
Dear Comrades,
The Revolutionary Socialist Party in Australia sends our warmest greetings to our comrades in the New Anti-capitalist Party and wishes you every success for your Congress.
The crises confronting world capitalism – financial, social, environmental – are deeper, more serious than ever before. The recent multiple crises are a fresh reminder of capitalism’s inherent and many-sided structural contradictions, which are posing an unprecedented threat to human civilisation and even life on the planet.
Revolutionary struggles against imperialist-imposed dictatorships in Tunisia and Egypt, spreading to the whole Arab world, shows the instability of the rule of capitalism, smug in its delusions that it was “the end of history”, and “there is no alternative.” These inspiring struggles should put revolution back on the agenda around the world.
For many decades, socialists and others have been warning of the environmental danger that capitalism poses to the Earth. Now this dire threat is widely recognised by all but a few climate sceptics. Climate change, brought about by the capitalists’ reckless drive for private profits, has to be reversed, but capitalism cannot do it. World socialism is ever more urgently needed to save the planet.
The global capitalist economic crisis has brought home to millions that the capitalist system is inherently unstable, that it’s not permanent, that a different way of organising society is possible. It’s capitalism’s most serious crisis since the Great Depression. They poured billions into banks, yet have launched fierce austerity drives against the working class in country after country. The resistance in France against Sarkozy’s attacks on pensions has inspired workers in Europe and around the world.
Imperialist wars are never-ending. US imperialism’s continuous war in the Middle East and Asia, essentially a war to ensure its control of the dwindling oil supply, is slaughtering thousands, creating millions of angry enemies of imperialism, and impacting on US poor and working class people, who have to fight these wars.
Now the dramatic exposures by Wikileaks have torn away the veil of secrecy on these wars, and on the lies and deceptions that US imperialism daily uses to perpetuate its aggressive rule.
So it is a very contradictory world situation, with capitalism suffering multiple crises, and increasingly exposed, and revolutionary mass struggles exploding, but a left as yet very inadequate to the task of providing direction and leadership to mass movements that could address capitalism’s weaknesses and contradictions and build a better world
Capitalism might be wrecking the environment and threatening life on the planet, and ruthlessly exploiting billions when scientific and technological advances should be providing a comfortable life for the whole world, but it won’t willingly dig its own grave, and certainly won’t hand over power without a fight. So we have to organise, and we need a revolutionary Marxist party in each country, to provide leadership, and educate and organise the masses of working people to make a revolution.
“Socialism of the 21st century” is a slogan favoured by the Venezuelan revolutionaries, which expresses a healthy desire to combine the best of the old and the new: to respond creatively to new conditions, but avoid the errors of socialism in the 20th century, the betrayals, the bureaucratisation, the rigidity of tactics that were converted into principles; at the same time to retain all the gains, the lessons of successful revolutions, especially the experience of Lenin, and the need for a revolutionary party.
So we wish the comrades of the NPA our warmest solidarity in your task of building such a party.
Build the international socialist movement!
Workers of the World Unite!

Solidarity Message
To
The 2nd NPA (New Anti-capitalist Party) Congress held in Paris, France
From
CPB-ML (Communist Party of Bangladesh-Marxist-Leninist)
On behalf of the Communist Party of Bangladesh (Marxist-Leninist) we wholeheartedly expressed our deep solidarity and feelings of oneness to the 2nd Congress of NPA being held in Paris, France on 11-13 February 2011. We also extended our support to the expected outcomes, objectives and goals to be drawn in the congress.
Although we are working with the people in Bangladesh for a better world to be achieved through a revolution it is quite clear that real success at this point lies in the internationalism which can not be avoided any way at the present global context. Therefore, the struggle of NPA and that of CPB-ML are not isolated from each other. Moreover, these days we are fighting the same enemies----capitalism and imperialism which exist everywhere with different level of magnitude but almost in the same appearance. Thus, our fight against the common enemies culminates in the identical global movement one day.
The capitalism as well as the imperialism which are responsible for all recent crises including global economic recession, food crisis, climate change and hunger etc. is being resisted uniquely by the people all over the world for the last two decades. Against the back drop of US uni-polar super power, the power of unity of the people all over represents another super power. As a results multi-polar super powers are looming which pushes the world into uncertainty. In such condition people have got to establish a parallel counter hegemony to the capitalist world order with billions of alternatives that lead the world towards a classless and exploitation free society for all human being, towards a society which represents eco-socialism. Proletariat, peasants, climate proletariats, organic intellectuals and many other potential groups will play important role in the process of strides in hegemony.
We hope NPA as party of the genuine people will play a very important and positive role at international level for reclaiming the people’s power.
We feel great privilege to send our message. Our representative, Pathak Lala Golder was supposed to be in your congress but owing to visa problem he could not make it to France. We regret for this.
Promising a continued fight against the common enemies who are constantly destroying and exploiting the earth planet and its people, we would like to say that we have a long way to go together, hand in hand and shoulder to shoulder. Victory is inevitably with us.
We wish you a very successful congress and finally congratulate the delegates and guests to be in the congress and congratulate the new party committee to be formed as well.
Long live revolution!

PRP: delegation at the congress (message to come)
KPRM-PRD Indonésie
Dear comrades of NPA,
Solidarity greetings
On behalf of all activists of Political Committee of the Poor – People’s Democratic Party (KPRM-PRD) Indonesia, we congratulate your initial congress. We also thank you for having our delegation among you all and had opportunity to feel the spirit of struggle and solidarity, as well as tension debates on the future of the struggle of the radical anti capitalist party project in France. Those all had given us so many lessons particularly on how to maintain democratic participation within the party and unity in political action.
Within the very historical moment of Tunisian and Egyptian revolution; the different scale but ongoing popular resistance against austerity, caused by the capitalist crisis in Europe, your congress had a great task to consolidate ideas and action on how to maintain and expand the people’s struggle and solidarity within France, Europe, and even the world, and at the same time to present the real radical anti capitalist left alternative against pro neoliberal and capitalist ruling class.
With the influential role you had played in several general strikes in France since July 2010, we hope that you can grow bigger and radical as an inspiration of other radical left forces in the world. As the ongoing crisis continues to unfold the fact that capitalism cannot be reformed any further, the role of the radical anti capitalist left forces in the world are at stake. Together we are working and struggling to consolidate the forces of anti capitalist lefts, and at the same time we are developing and maintaining the popular resistance against the pro capitalism and imperialism ruling class in each of our countries.
Long live the struggle against capitalism and imperialism.
For Revolution and Socialism in 21st century.

Solidarity Statement
Revolutionary greetings,
The NPA’s Congress is held in the midst of great upheaval in the
world, particularly in Tunisia and Egypt, as global capitalist crisis
deepens and spreads. France has experienced its own popular rebellion
last year in the struggle against Sarkozy’s pension plan and the NPA
has been at the forefront of the mass movement. The outcome of this
struggle is still uncertain, as the time of crisis brings not only
opportunity but also challenges and threats to the Left. The People’s
Democratic Party (PRD) of Indonesia therefore hopes that the NPA’s
Congress held this February 11-13 will bring about lively discussions
that will result in improving the strength and strategy of the
progressive camp in France, and the world in general.

Japan Revolutionary Communist League (JRCL) and National Council of Internationalist Workers(NCIW)
Greeting message for Second Congress of NPA
Dear comrades,
We, Japan Revolutionary Communist League (JRCL) and National Council of Internationalist Workers (NCIW) send a greeting message for the second congress of NPA.
We are very much encouraged by massive strikes and mobilization of workers and people in France against pension reform last year and very important role of yours among these very impressive struggles under ongoing economic and financial crisis of capitalist system.
Inviting comrade Leon Cremieux of NPA, we held workers symposium in Tokyo and Osaka on last November 27th and 29th . Comrade Leon’s report on the challenge of NPA and big struggles gave very useful suggestions for workers and people in Japan facing serious capitalist attack.
In general election held August 2009, Liberal Democratic Party, right wing capitalist party which had been ruling for more than fifty years, was lost and Democratic Party of Japan supported by the biggest trade union confederation took the office. But after one years of DPJ government, its policies have been completely same as those of LDP in its neoliberal agenda and security policies dependent on Washington. Also Japanese Communist Party and Social Democratic Party have been experiencing long time decline and they could not find a way out of their increasingly marginal role in Japanese politics. Under such context, very dangerous anti-China and anti-Korea chauvinist and racist sentiment have been developing particularly among youth.
We would like to challenge these difficult situation in Japan by providing clear anti-capitalist and internationalist perspective through stimulating resistance and broad co-ordinations against capitalist offensive from grassroots level.
We hope success of your second congress.
With internationalist greetings from Japan

Socialist Party of Malaysia (PSM)
Dear comrades in NPA,
Solidarity greetings from Malaysia.
Socialist Party of Malaysia (PSM) would like to express our solidarity with the New Anti-Capitalist Party (NPA) in conjunction with your 2nd Congress.
NPA has emerged into an important political force in France in recent years to fight against capitalist onslaught on the people. Welfare state model in France, as well as in other parts of Europe, though it was a compromise of working class struggle, but it was hard won through massive fight of the working class. Now, the neoliberal regimes in Europe are eroding protections for the ordinary people in order to pay for capitalist crisis.
Not only in Europe, but capitalist governments around the world are also embarking on a massive attack on working people and the poor, in their efforts to save the savage global capitalism from collapse.
The congress of NPA is taking place in an important moment and a historical conjuncture in France as well as in Europe. The battle line to resist capitalism has drawn across the world and we have enormous tasks ahead of us.
We hope to strengthen our solidarity with NPA and movement in France in our struggle to defeat capitalism and to build a better world.
We hope you will have a fruitful discussion in the congress.
Your struggle is our inspiration.

Message of Solidarity for Second [First] NPA congress
Dear delegates of Second NPA congress
Labour Party Pakistan sends the revolutionary greeting to all the delegates of the second congress of NPA. LPP is a sister organization of yours working in Pakistan on almost the same strategies as NPA.
The congress is taking place at the time of a great upheaval in Middle East and elsewhere. Masses are on the street and are speaking loudly to end dictatorships promoted by the imperialists for long time. The international capitalist economic crisis is now transforming itself into political crisis of the ruling classes. The tyrannical rules by many of capitalist buddies have been shaken by the massive noise of the people in the street.
The political bankruptcy of the ruling classes and their states is tarnishing the conditions of living of an endlessly increasing section of the people across the globe particularly in the so-called developing countries. The over 40 percent poor in Egypt expose the myth of the development under capitalism. The first task of the anti-capitalist left must be to build these struggles on as broad and a militant basis as possible,
There is a dire need to develop anti capitalist forces worldwide. NPA has taken a lead in this regard. The presence of NPA in France is freshening message for the comrades worldwide.
This congress will further strengthen the anti capitalist forces in Europe that is very much needed for those struggling against capitalism in developing countries.
The future belongs to socialism, to social ownership of all the main means of production, whose management already depends on the cooperation of billions of men and women at international scale.
We were happy to receive a delegate of NPA at our fifth congress last year in Pakistan; we could not repeat the same to you. However, building LPP in Pakistan is like building NPA in France. We are not with you physically however, we are with you ideologically with a task of building revolutionary left everywhere from France to Pakistan. Rebolusyonaryong Partido ng Manggagawa - Mindanao (Revolutionary Workers Party - Mindanao) (RPM-M)
Solidarity Message for the Second [First after the founding one] Congress of the
Nouveau Parti Anticapitaliste (NPA)
The Rebolusyonaryong Partido ng Manggagawa-Mindanao (Revolutionary Workers Party - Mindanao), the section of the Fourth International in the Philippines, as well as the entire forces of its armed wing, the Revolutionary Peoples’ Army (RPA) extend our warmest revolutionary greetings and congratulations to our esteemed comrades in the NPA in its First Congress.
It was just six (6) months since we also had our Second Congress in Mindanao. In that historic event of our Party, we were honored with the attendance of a long-time comrade from your Party – the NPA who joined and participated with us. Despite the fact that the gathering was clandestinely held in a Guerilla Camp in the jungle, the comrade from your Party braved the security risks, the bad weather, the “strange food” and the physical rigor of going uphill to the camp, among others. This display of solidarity, commitment and internationalism by an NPA comrade has greatly inspired us, as well as our fighters and the masses that met him which strengthened further our resolve in our anti-capitalist struggles.
It is unfortunate that this time, we cannot send a representative to witness and be with you in this historic event. The urgent matters in our areas that need immediate attention aside from the fact it is in time of the second regular Central Committee plenum of the Second Congress prevented us to be physically present with you, comrades. It would have been very interesting for us to hear and participate with your discussions given the fact that it was just last year when you helped launched the spectacular massive strikes gathering several millions in France against Sarkozy’s pension reforms. The above-mentioned massive strikes against increasing the retirement age and to convert this into massive and all-rounded anti-capitalist movement are and will be a big challenge for all the anti-capitalist organizations and parties. We recognized that the developments of the revolutionary movement in France have always played an important role to the international anti-capitalist movement. Let us not forget that all of the challenges will not hinder us in pursuing the revolution, may it be organizational, political or ideological. Your Congress is a bold step in overcoming all of these challenges. Despite our physical absence, our comrades in the NPA can always rely that we are always with you in thoughts and in the struggles. We are one of your comrade-organizations in this common struggle against Capitalism and oppression in whatever form, and our struggles here in Mindanao in particular and Philippines in general is our major contribution towards this common end.
The RPMM is greatly appreciative of the strong solidarity forged by our Parties. This growing solidarity among comrades should be strengthened and sustained as this will ensure continuity of collaborative struggles at the present and in the future.
Amidst the daily challenges of the struggle and the sufferings of the toiling masses and the working people brought about by this barbaric world system of capitalist domination and exploitation, somehow it enlivens our spirit knowing that across the globe we have comrades fighting the same battle as ours.
Our revolutionary salute to our comrades in the NPA! Ever onward! Venceremos!
Let’s build and strengthen anti-capitalist movements!
Long Live Internationalism!
Long Live the First Congress of the NPA!

Partido ng Manggagawa [Labor Party-Philippines]
Solidarity Message to the New Anti Capitalist Party of France
Greetings of working class solidarity!
We salute the New Anti Capitalist Party in its second congress. The NPA congress will be held amidst the fierce winds of change blowing in North Africa that hopefully will cross the Mediterranean and reach the shores of France.
The working class of France is in a crucial conjuncture. The offensive of the capitalist class that became even more severe and brutal as the global crisis unfolded a few years ago is nonetheless engendering an escalation in the resistance of the workers and the peoples of the world.
The class conscious workers in Philippines have been following with interest the huge mobilizations among the French proletariat against the Sarkozy government’s plan to reform the pension system and shift the burden of its costs on the backs of the workers. Such historic and gigantic movements inspire the workers of the whole world.
France is obviously a crucial link the chain of imperialist countries and any breakthrough in the class struggles in your country will have momentous significance for the international working class movement and the socialist struggle in the advanced countries. We will be paying attention to critical assessments of the fight against pension reform and the struggle against the capitalist offensive in France.
The tasks of the workers of France grow heavier as the fate of the Arab revolution hangs in the balance. As former colonizer of many of the Arab countries, the imperialist interference and intervention of the French ruling class can play a major role in subverting the uprisings in North Africa and the protests in the Middle East.
With the solidarity of the international proletariat, a resurgent working class movement in the Arab countries should swing the balance of forces for the people’s uprisings.
So even as the workers of the world look at France for the lessons of its class struggle, we are also focused on the popular uprisings and stirrings in North Africa and the Middle East. With nearly a million Filipino migrant workers in the Middle East sending some USD 3 billion in remittances to our country, the events in the Middle East will have great repercussions not just on the Philippine economy but in the consciousness of our people.
In a world of contradictions and revolutions, the role of international solidarity becomes even more crucial. We look forward to increasing cooperation between the workers of our countries.

Dear comrades at the New Anti-Capitalist Party,
The Partido Lakas ng Masa sends its warmest congratulations to your second Congress this year.
We have been trying to send a PLM representative to your Congress, namely, the chairperson of PLM himself. But an emergency matter has arisen the last few days that we are finalizing the trip to France. Our sincerest apology for not being able to attend your Congress, but we send our deepest appreciation to the invitation and our highest regard to the comrades who have gathered for this historic event.
We have been trying to follow the developments in Europe in relation to the impacts of the capitalist economic crisis and the attacks on the working class as the capitalist system attempts to solve the crisis at the expense of the working class. We have been especially alerted by the industrial action and mobilizations in France against the pension reforms. Your street mobilizations, in some instances participated by millions of people, have been of great inspiration to us all, especially the comrades from the labor unions in the Philippines.
In the Philippines, the character of the capitalist crisis have taken the forms of massive layoffs and retrenchment, contractualization of labor, wage freeze and moratoriums on collective bargaining agreements, and other issues that continue to batter the trade union movement. Another character of the crisis has been the rising prices of fares and basic commodities, the water and energy crisis, and even the rampant corruption and plunder of state funds and resources, including military funds, that are now being reported daily in the media due to the confessions from “whistle blowers” or involved parties themselves.
While we are not able to send our representative in your Congress, would like to find out more about the discussions and the developments so as to understand better the response of the French and the European working class movement to the worsening capitalist economic crisis. We will continue to relate with your organization and be in solidarity with your struggles.
Strengthen the anti-capitalist struggles; long live the solidarity of the working class worldwide,

NAVA SAMA SAMAJA PARTY (NSSP)- New Social Equality Party
28.1-2011
To New Anti capitalist party in France
Dear Comrades,
NSSP is of course quite pleased to send warm revolutionary greetings
to the NPA on the occasion of their 2nd Congress.
Given the longstanding revolutionary fighting tradition of the
French Comrades dating back to the gigantic student struggle of the
sixties of the last century, followed, inter alia by the
relatively recent 1995 and 2003 campaigns, NPA can become a
significant player in Europe with inspiration to Marxist movements
across the world.
Recent heroic campaigns launched by the NPA against the pension cuts
imposed by the Sarkozy administration is a good example of NPA’s
commitment and determination to struggle for a better future. Also
to be placed on record is the attention focused by the NPA on ,
say, the recent Red Shirt campaign in Thailand, for it shows
NPA’s concern to generate upsurge internationally in consonance
with its commitment to place the 2nd Congress within a substantial
international dynamics.
NSSP feels confident that NPA will grow from strength to strength to
be a real force to reckon with in their ongoing campaigns against the
increasingly predatory nature of global capital, most importantly ,
the catastrophic climate change that stares humanity in the face.
In solidarity,
NSSP Politbureau
