To all those who supported us
Thanks to your solidarity that you expressed through petitions, meetings in front of embassies and demonsgtrations we, as prisoners, could resist in the prisons of the Moroccan regime.
This great solidarity with us and the repressed people of Sidi Ifni Aït-Baamrani, added to the resistance of our families and moroccan associations, was a protective shield which forced the Moroccan regime to soften the unfair sentences imposed against us by the Court of Agadir.
We express our gratitude and joy for this victory but we would like to emphasize that our comrades still imprisoned in the prison of Tiznit Inezgane and still have a great need of your support (see list below)
Furthermore, the relative leniency of the ruling is only temporary and partial victory, as people tried, still in detention or released, are awaiting trial on appeal in the coming months.
In addition the promises of development are largely fictitious and unrelated to the actual demands of the inhabitants.
Dear comrades,
Our resistance to the savage repressive device and your solidarity will be the only guarantee that our victory is complete and a compass for the continuing our common struggle.
Long live solidarity. Venceremos
