and Police has been taking place against Lawyers, Awami Tahreek (AT),
Pakistan Peoples Party, Muslim League Nawaz, Jammaait Islami and a few Civil
Society activists whereas other parties have been dealt with soft hands or
thier leadership has been house arrested. It is also interesting to note

travel this well worn path of emergencies many times in the chequered
history of Pakistan when the establishment had first captured power in
Islamabad through coup-de-tat and then got it legitimized through the well
tried and tested world famous law of necessity. He demanded that the Supreme
Court and all the four High Courts be restored as they were on 2nd November
and the illegal, unconstitutional and inhuman PCO and emergency be lifted,
federal & provincial govts should resign, media be freed, all prisoners be
released & a date be announced for free & fair elections. Mr. Palijo said
his party and the laboring masses of Sindh & Pakistan are ready to clasp the
hands of any one who is willing to march forward with them on the path of a
peaceful & democratic struggle for a better, democratic & peaceful Pakistan
and in this regard they are ready to cooperate with Civil Society, lawyers,
