Today, as you read this, thousands of families in Feni District, Bangladesh, are facing a desperate struggle for survival. Flash floods, which struck in early July, have ravaged communities in Fulgazi, Parshuram, and Chhagalnaiya Upazilas, leaving a trail of devastation. Homes are submerged, food stocks are gone, and vital crops, the very lifeline for small farmers and landless laborers, have been destroyed.

The situation is critical, with urgent humanitarian needs among the most vulnerable: women-headed households, the elderly, and children are particularly at risk. They have lost everything and are now battling hunger, disease, and the crushing weight of despair.

The Bangladesh Krishok Federation (BKF), with its deep roots in these communities, is on the ground, delivering immediate relief. We have witnessed firsthand the suffering, and we are committed to providing urgent, need-based assistance to the most affected families.

We need your immediate support to provide lifelines to these struggling communities.

Our goal is simple: to provide swift, impactful aid that addresses their most pressing needs and helps them begin the long road to recovery.

How Your Donation Will Make a Direct Impact:

Every single Bangladeshi Taka (BDT) you contribute will go directly towards:

• Emergency Food Support: Tk. 1,000 provides a 10-day food package (rice, lentil, oil, salt) for one family. Your Tk. 1,000 can feed a family in crisis.

• Hygiene Kits: Tk. 300 provides essential hygiene supplies (soaps, sanitary napkins, oral saline, disinfectants) to prevent disease outbreaks. Your Tk. 300 can protect a family from illness.

• Safe Drinking Water: Tk. 100 provides water purification tablets and temporary containers for safe hydration. Your Tk. 100 can ensure clean water for a family.

• Seed & Input Support: Tk. 500 empowers a marginal farmer with local rice/vegetable seeds and organic compost for post-flood replanting, kickstarting their livelihood. Your Tk. 500 can help a farmer rebuild their future.

Our total immediate need is Tk. 5,00,000 to reach 250 vulnerable families and 100 marginal farmers within the next 30 days.

All donations we receive are transmitted to their recipients. The small team of ESSF coordinators covers the operating costs of the association and the website.
