Our main theses:
1 The Social Movement defends the development of the public sector of the economy, subordinated to the priorities of defence and full employment, and defends the rights of those liable for military service and military personnel to decent treatment, demobilisation after a certain period of service and rehabilitation.
2 The Social Movement advocates nuclear disarmament, cooperation with left-wing forces that recognise Ukraine’s right to self-defence, and support for the struggle of other peoples for their liberation.
3 The Social Movement will oppose policies that divide society and defend social rights as a precondition for the affirmation of human dignity. We will demand full state control over the preservation of the lives and well-being of workers, who are at risk as never before.
4 The Social Movement will develop, together with trade unions and other progressive civil society organisations, a programme of transformation that will address the long-term interests of workers, peasants and other vulnerable groups of the Ukrainian population in the context of production, environment and energy.
The Social Movement will fight for the restoration of the right to vote, the right to peaceful assembly and the right to strike, as well as for the abolition of all restrictions on social and labour rights.
