Comrade Sabul Sarkar, Convener of Pragatisheel Krishok Sangram Parishad and General Secretary of Bangladesh Bhumihin Samiti, a member of Polit Bureau of Communist Party of Bangladesh, was admitted to Shibchar Upazila Health Complex in Madaripur district on March 11, 2022 at 2 am and died at the hospital.
In a statement General Secretary of Communist Party of Bangladesh-ML and President of Bangladesh Krishok Federation Comrade Badrul Alam, General Secretary Zayed Iqbal Khan, General Secretary of Bangladesh Sramik Federation AAM Fayez Hossain, President of Bangladesh National Sramik Federation Shamim Ara, President of Readymade Garments Workers Federation Lovely Yasmins, Motherland Garment Workers’ Federation President Saleha Islam Shantana, Jago Bangladesh Garment Workers’ Federation President Baharane Sultan Bahar, President of Bangladesh Migrant Women Workers Forum Mahinur Akhter Brishti, President of Bangladesh Kishani Sabha Samshunnahar Khan Doli, General Secretary Sabina Yasmin, President of Bangladesh Adivasi Samiti Omoli Kisku and General Secretary Swapan Ekka, President of Ganochhaya Cultural Center Motahar Hossain, bangladesh Rural Intelletual Front Convener Abdul High Master, General Secretary of the Socialist Workers Party Shamsul Alam, General Secretary of Bangladesh Nari Sramik Union Jahanara Begum and Harunar Rashid, Convener of Shramojibi Andolan expressed deep sorrow over the death of Comrade Subal Sarkar and condolences to the bereaved family members.
In a statement, the leaders said the departure of Subal Sarkar was unexpected adding that he had been involved in student politics since the early eighties and had cherished the initiation into left politics till his death. Subdued by greed he did never deviate from principles and ideals. He was a devoted soul to and a pioneer in the fight for the rights of the peasants, agricultural laborers and landless people of the country. Wherever there were cases of injustice, deprivation and deprivation of rights, he would run away as a defendant with lightning speed.
He went to Madaripur Shibchar Upazila to attend the meeting of the National Committee of Bangladesh Landless Association. He was a die-hard fighting leader. The selfless politics of Chirkumar comrade Subal Sarkar may be imitated and followed by all.
They said he died at a difficult time in the country when his presence was essential. The leaders paid homage to the eventful working life dedicated to the people of Comrade Subal Sarkar and said that in his untimely death the hardworking peasant-working people of the country had lost a true friend of theirs. This is an irreparable loss that will never be made up.

Comrade Subal Sarkar is no more
Comrade Subal Sarkar, General Secretary of Bangladesh Landless Association, Convener of Progressive Krishok Sangram Parishad and Member of Polit Bureau of Communist Party-ML of Bangladesh is no more. He died at the hospital this morning due to bleeding in his heart while staying in Shibchar Upazila of Madaripur. He was 60 years old at the time of his death. He was unmarried forever but left behind many well-wishers and admirers.
Comrade Subal Sarkar became actively involved in leftist student politics in the early eighties of the last century. Since then he has been confident and committed to leftist politics throughout his life. In the midst of many ups and downs of politics, Subal Sarkar was steadfast in his principles and ideals. He never succumbed to greed.
Comrade Subal Sarkar believed in the communist world revolution. That is why he was particularly fond of Comrade Trotsky.
He was involved in the work of Bangladesh Bhumihin Samiti, the organization of his life till the moment before his death. The meeting of the National Committee of Bangladesh Landless Association was to be held in Shibchar for two days from today.
