The deaths of peaceful people in Kiev and Kharkov will not redeem or prevent the deaths of residents of Donetsk and Lugansk. To bring Donbass as an argument for invading Ukraine is to divert your eyes from the disaster that covers both Ukraine and Russia. And the position of the Russian Socialist Movement is to oppose this disaster. Disasters, which were unleashed by not NATO, nor Ukraine, but by the Russian Federation.
Putin’s aim is not peace for Donbass, but a war in Ukraine
The long-going war in Donbass cannot justify the invasion of Ukraine. All participants of the Dobbass are equally liable for that, including Russia. But instead of providing the people of Donbass with security, the Russian government has started a new war. Its aim is to turn the entire Ukraine into Donbass, because the terrified population of a devastated country can be ruled by Putin’s homicidal puppets. Puppets like the ones that make fortunes exploiting the workers of Donbass and Luhansk while sending any opposition to torture chambers.
Deaths in Kharkiv and Kyiv do not prevent or redeem deaths in Donetsk and Luhansk. The only aim of those who justify the new war with the old one is to obfuscate the catastrophe looming in Ukraine and Russia. And the position of the Russian Socialist Movement is to oppose this catastrophe, the catastrophe started not by Ukraine or NATO, but by the government of the Russian Federation.
