Chaired by the General Secretary of the party Comrade Badrul Alam, the rally was addressed by Polit Bureau Member comrade Muklesuddin Shahin, Bangladesh Shramik Federation General Secretary AAM Fayes Hossain, Bangladesh Krishok Federation General Secretary Zayed Iqbal Khan, Bangladesh Bhumiheen Samity General Secretary comrade Subal Sarker, among others.

Criticising the boundless corruption in all spheres of the ministries, directorates, departments, offices of the government, the speaker said the government proved to be extreme failure to curve the graft.

The leaders said that only graft in health sector itself broke all the records exposed during the COVID 19 pandemic.

On the other hand, Masud, Prodip, Liakat and Nondolal in Cox’s Bazar and Teknaf working in police administration earned illegally billion of Taka through extra-judicial killing in the name of so-called anti-drug drive and posing threat & intimidation.

The speakers also told that owing to the corruption of this kind there created class discrimination, income discrimination and pauperization in society. As a result, the workers-peasants-toiling masses have become jobless and victims of extreme sufferings and deprivation.

The leaders called upon all the people in different strata in the country to resist this corruption unitedly.

From the rally the unconditional release of Muminur Rahman Bishal who is the leader of Democratic Revolutionary Party and Working President of Bangladesh Krishok Forum was demanded by the speakers.
