Today 10 November 2018 on Saturday at 3 pm in the afternoon at 22/1 Topkhana Road in Bangladesh Shishu Kalyan Parishad, organized by Bangladesh Krishok Federation, Bangladesh Kishani Sabha, Bangladesh Bhumiheen Samity and Bangladesh Adivasi Samity the discussion meeting was arranged.
Presided over by Bangladesh Krishok Federation President Comrade Badrul Alam and conducted by Bangladesh Krishok Federation General Secretary Comrade Zayed Iqbal Khan the meeting was addressed by Workers Party of Bangladesh Polit Bureau Member Comrade Anisur Rahman Mallik, Bangladesh Shramik Federation General Secretary Labor Leader AAM Fayez, CPBML Polit Bureau Member Comrade Mukhlesuddin Shahin, Bangladesh Bhumiheen Samity General Secretary landless leader Subol Sarker, Woman Leader Jahanara Begum, Nahar Parveen Runu, Rehana Begum, Rijia Begum, Advocate Iqbal Mahmud Liton, Badrul Hoque Badol, Peasant leader Shahabuddin Matobbor and Hawkers leader Arif Choudhury, among others.

Reflecting on the colorful working life of the great leader Comrade Abdus Satter Khan the speakers in the meeting said the memory of this leader would remain in their spirit and work as long as the workers and peasants would be alive . They added that as long as the workers, peasants and toiling masses are not aware of their rights, no emancipation for them. There is no alternative to being united if the rights should be realized.
At this moment the country demands the leader like Abdus Satter Khan. He insisted on the movement of realizing the rights of people. Comrade Abdus Satter was exceptional and extraordinary personality in the left movement in Bangladesh. He was dedicated and solid patriot and he has strong feelings to the poor downtrodden people. He never surrendered to power, greed and material interest.

The speakers also added that Comrade Abdus Satter Khan was sincere leader who won the heart of the peasants, peasants women, workers and toiling masses in the country. Referring to his stiffness and confidence on principle in political life the speakers maintained that he was an uncompromising leader. He never made entente with vested interest quarters destroying the the interest of peasantry.

This great warrior organizing and awaking the peasants and workers took part in the great liberation war of 1971 in Bangladesh. Now it is our main task and duty to execute his ideology and goal. He was fighting solder and revolutionary leader in the struggle of the emancipation of the exploited peasant-workers and toiling people. Moreover, he waged a continued struggle to establish the land right of landless people through a genuine and integrated land reform.
